In the event of inclement weather, St. Leo's follows the policy of Fairfax County Public Schools.
During the school week -- if public schools close early or are closed entirely, St. Leo's facilities will be closed and all meetings canceled.
On weekends -- if public school weekend activities are closed, St. Leo's facilities will be closed and all meetings canceled.
The church will be open and Mass and the Sacraments will always be held, regardless of the weather. But, in prudence, parishioners are reminded that they ought not to endanger themselves or risk aggravating physical conditions in the event of bad road or neighborhood sidewalk conditions. There is no obligation to attend Mass if there is a hazard to personal health and well-being.
